Known for her strong ties to both immigrant communities and local neighborhoods, Ibrahim’s door-knocking campaign is designed to finish strong and ensure her message reaches every corner of the city.

“I believe in the power of personal connection and understanding the unique concerns of every resident,” Ibrahim said while visiting homes by Talahi Elementary neighborhood. “Going door-to-door allows me to listen directly to the people of St. Cloud and share my vision for a thriving, inclusive community.”

Ibrahim’s campaign has gained significant momentum thanks to her extensive community involvement and her fresh vision for St. Cloud. Her platform, which includes safe neighborhoods, supporting law enforcement, economic development, attainable housing, infrastructure maintenance, and city beautification, resonates with a wide range of voters.

With a solid base of support in both immigrant communities and among long-term residents, Ibrahim’s diverse appeal is evident. She has been warmly welcomed at many summer events, including the latest Somali cultural event hosted by Hiddo Soor. Her presence at these gatherings highlights her commitment to celebrating the cultural richness of St. Cloud.

“Participating in events like the Somali cultural festival hosted by Hiddo Soor is essential for me. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our city’s diversity and hear from residents about their hopes and concerns,” Ibrahim noted. “St. Cloud’s strength lies in its vibrant and welcoming community.”

Her background as a nonprofit leader and small business owner has equipped her with the skills needed to build and empower communities. Programs like “Dine & Dialogue,” which she hosts, have successfully fostered positive relationships among people from different backgrounds.

With the election just weeks away, Ibrahim is focusing on her grassroots efforts, believing that direct engagement is key to a successful campaign. Her door-knocking initiative has been met with enthusiasm from residents, who appreciate her dedication to listening and responding to their needs.

“I am committed to fostering an environment where our seniors want to retire, and everyone else can find the best possible quality of life,” Ibrahim said. “Together, we can build an even stronger, more prosperous future for our beloved city.”
